The Story of IAG

The Story of International Alliance Group

Every child deserves a teacher who understands them, reflects their culture, speaks their language, and inspires their dreams.

Jason Hammond

In classrooms across the United States, students need more than just education: they need connection. Research shows that students with culturally similar teachers feel more understood, are more engaged in their learning, and achieve better academic outcomes.

Inspired by this need, Jason Hammond, then Human Resources Director for a school district in Arizona, faced the daily challenge of filling teacher vacancies with educators who could truly connect with the community.

“We realized that students, especially in bilingual programs, didn’t just need qualified teachers—they needed educators who understood their roots, their culture, and their language.”

Determined to find a solution, Jason began his search in Mexico, Guatemala and the rest of Latin America, discovering highly qualified, passionate, and culturally aligned international teachers.

From this mission, International Alliance Group was born: a trusted partner connecting the best international talent to the classrooms that need it most.

Building on this vision, IAG bridges critical staffing gaps in U.S. schools and healthcare facilities by connecting them with highly qualified international teachers and nurses. In education, we specialize in placing bilingual educators from Latin America in high-need areas such as Dual Language, Special Education, Science, and Math. For healthcare, we provide skilled international nurses who enhance patient care and strengthen medical teams.

Our turnkey approach ensures a seamless experience, managing everything from recruitment and visa processing to relocation and ongoing support. By prioritizing cultural and linguistic diversity, we help schools and healthcare facilities connect with professionals who reflect and understand their communities, fostering engagement and positive outcomes. With flexible visa options like J1 and H1B, our program offers long-term, cost-effective staffing solutions, often proving cost-neutral or even cost-saving through federal tax incentives and reduced benefits costs.
