About International Alliance Group

The Finance and Information Technology Team assists the school district by providing guidance on processing payroll for J1 Visa international teachers. They also offer support for the Business department teams working with International Alliance Group, LLC (IAG), an approved vendor with a cooperative contract (1GPA Award #22-09PV-05) that allows districts to obtain their services without additional quotes. This contract is valid until 2027.

Kasey obtained her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Indiana Wesleyan University and then went on to obtain a Master's in Education in Reading with an emphasis in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University as well as a Master's in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Ottawa University. Kasey’s educational journey started in the classroom teaching 2nd grade and 3rd grade before moving to the Arizona Department of Education as a Certification Evaluator. Kasey then worked her way up to Director of Rules and Procedures in the Certification Unit. Kasey’s journey continued with Grand Canyon University as a State Compliance Administrator.

Over a span of 31 years in public education, Monica is a seasoned Human Resources professional serving as Director of HR for 14+ years.? In growing school districts with approximately 1,300 employees and 10,000 students, she has served as a leader in staff recruitment, employee relations, compensation and employee benefits. She is an active lifetime member of the Arizona School Personnel Administrators Association and holds a Bachelor's in Business/Management from the University of Phoenix.?Driven by helping others, she takes pride in providing the best service possible.

The team's primary mission is to empower and enhance the skills and knowledge of international educators. We achieve this through a variety of means, including professional development sessions, individualized coaching and on-demand consultation services.

The IAG Professional Development Team provides live and recorded professional development sessions that are tailored to meet the unique needs of international educators in flexible formats to accommodate any schedule. These informative and engaging sessions cover a wide variety of topics relating to the needs and interests of our educators. Additionally, the team offers personalized coaching and support to help educators refine their instructional techniques and adapt to the demands of teaching in an international context. Lastly, the team provides ondemand consultation services, ensuring that educators have access to expert guidance and advice whenever they need it. Dr. Delphina Avila is a dedicated advocate for equity and results-driven education with a rich background in teaching and leadership across various educational levels. She has made a significant impact as a teacher, school administrator, district leader, and community advocate, particularly in communities similar to her own upbringing. As a district leader, she oversees federal programs, manages grants, analyzes data, and leads professional development initiatives, consistently working to ensure equitable access to quality education. Dr. Avila's role as an administrator has seen her successfully lead schools, maintain federal program compliance, and collaborate with the Arizona Department of Education. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she's a devoted mother of three graduates, showcasing her personal commitment to education and family. Currently serving as the Executive Director of International Alliance Group Charity, Dr. Avila's leadership and dedication continue to drive positive change and progress toward a more equitable and inclusive future in the world of education and equity advocacy.
