Karolina is a 4th grade teacher in a Spanish Immersion Program at Lewton School in Lansing, Michigan.
Originally from Managua, she joined IAG seeking new challenges and the chance to experience a different culture. Her journey in the U.S. has been full of growth, and she describes her experience with IAG as “fabulous.”

Rubén began his journey in the U.S. as a math teacher, but his growth didn’t stop there. With the right support, he has taken on roles as an English coordinator and a data improvement leader—transforming not just his classroom, but his entire school community.

Originally from Brazil, Nad is one of the many inspiring teachers placed by International Alliance Group through the J-1 Visa Program. Now teaching in the U.S., she brings passion, purpose, and global perspective to her students every day.

Meet Juan Alvarez, a passionate middle school Spanish teacher from Oaxaca, Mexico, now teaching in Commerce, Colorado through the J-1 Visa Program. Ilse Torres

Originally from Oaxaca, Ilse is a 3rd grade bilingual teacher at Rich View Elementary in San Antonio, Texas.
She chose to teach in the U.S. because it’s an incredible opportunity to learn new models and methods that she can one day take back to her country.
For Ilse, building friendships, creating a new home, and being recognized for her level of preparation have made this journey especially rewarding.
