Mexican or Canadian citizenship – To be eligible for this program, you must be a citizen of either Mexico or Canada; this is a requirement for applying for the TN visa.
Nursing license or certification to practice in your home country.
Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Completion of an undergraduate nursing program is a fundamental educational qualification and provides evidence of your comprehensive training and expertise in the field of nursing.
Validation of Practice – You are required to provide evidence confirming your professional nursing experience. Ideally, two or more years unless just graduating.
English language proficiency – You must provide documentation of your proficiency in the English language, validating your ability to communicate effectively in English. Excellent command of the English language. (LANGUAGE FLUENCY)

Note: Individuals can be exempted from this requirement if the nursing program was in the UK, Australia, Canada (except Quebec), New Zealand, Ireland, or the US, AND the language of instruction and the textbooks was English.
